Economic and labour Migration

An important part of migration in our country and worldwide is economic and labour migration. About 64% of international migrants worldwide are labour migrants who cross their country's borders to achieve a suitable or fair labour market. Economic, political and demographic crises today have increased the volume of labour migration in recent years. In the Iran Migration Observatory, in this research axis, in addition to understanding the trends and international markets of migrant labour and their effects in the countries of origin and destination, we try to create a clear picture of labour migration in Iran. Examine existing plans and policies of the government or the country's short-term or long-term goals and approaches in this field.
